Did anyone ever play the old computer game Myst? I was drawn into the game back in 6th or 7th grade. After Myst came out they made a sequel, called Riven. During this time they release 3 books. Back in the day, I started each book, but never finished any of them ( Read more... )

oh man i love that game! i have the original "trilogy": myst, riven, and exile. i had to look up how to play riven on the internet, that game is rediculously hard. myst i actually figured out on my own though it took me forever. i haven't played exile yet. but yeah... they released a 4th in the series just this year, i think. and then they have uru, which is that game to explore d'ni, but is not actually a part of the whole myst storyline. i love those games. they're seriously so cool, but damn they're hard.

oh, and i read one of the books. it was the story of... i can't remember his name. but the creater of myst, that guy. the book was brown.

i first started playing myst in 7th grade in some technology class. i have both myst and riven but i haven't managed to beat either one yet. but every once in a while i'll bust one of them out. i also had one of the books, but i can't remember what it was called and i don't think i ever finished reading it.

if you like the myst series, you HAVE to try Zork: Nemesis. it's a lot like myst but longer, harder and way cooler. i think there's 3 games in the zork series too, but i've only played nemises.

wow, i just realized what a bunch of dorks we all sound like, lol.
