for arguments sake, all the passages referred are from the old testament, the death of christ abolished most of these laws and set forth new ones. while some are still accurate they will pretty much have a new testament counterpart. If a fool wishes to condemn he should at least find the current version, which also staates let he who is w/o skin cast the first stone. Christianity forgot what it means to be christians i.e. christlike and instead act more like the pharasees which are the only people christ ever condemed.

whil it is one thing to point out that the path is wrong and one offers to show a better path. One should not hate the person who makes what they feel is a mistake in life, but love them for who they are.

Its not Christ who offends me, just his loudest followers.

The current validity of Old Testament rules isn't the point here though. The point is that, as a book, the Bible contains offensive, racist, and otherwise obscene material. Which it unquestionably does.

I'd have to argue that history textbooks, in general, lack the graphic depictions the Bible has.

Wow, well good thing I'm not Christain hey? How are you? I hope classes go really well. Though I think that you should still live on campus so the campus security can watch after you. We all know the type of trouble you can get into! LOL. Good luck Hun. Mali
