I know this one. If a boy gets upset/angry over a potential vacation he is not being overbearing believe it or not. I know it seems like he is but I do know for a fact why it is that he does not want you to go. Not for any poor reason at all. Simply because you will not be with him, or near him or in rage of him and he will miss you terribly. It's the prospect of you being far away that troubles him. The fact that he is not with you and you are enjoying yourself without him.
If you don't want to fight love, and you see many fights ahead. Do yourself a favor. Get out and run fast. Like the cops are after you and you have a pocket full of winter because the fact is you matter more then he does, in the end you have you. You know you. Trust me on that. Think of those nights in a kitchen we hated with people we could do without.
As for growing up, I don't think you have either, as for that...did that ever matter much? Since when did you want to?
