All it takes is a second

Even with the best of surge protectors and UPS, my system is stuck in an infinite loop after a minor power failure to the house this morning. I cannot access the main rig and am writing this on the lappy. The loop starts at the loading screen before the desktop loads and I am currently researching my options again
