Well, I decided to work on a sewing project this weekend, and managed to break the needle on it. I figured out why, and know how to fix it now. So I guess I'm learning?

I'm just glad it didn't break off, and embed itself in my eye, like I always warned christhegeek it would, when she offered to teach me to sew.

After having a needle shatter and hit my glasses, I now always where racket ball protective goggles while I sew. You can get them for 8$ at sporting goods stores

I've never sewn with protective eyewear, but I also sew slowly and very carefully. Thus the reason that so few of my projects get done.
