Which night are you going to? We're going to The Long of It, because "Sons and Daughters" is our favorite song, like, ever -- G's especially -- and it seemed more likely that they'd play it on that night. They didn't play it when we saw them this summer and it was very sad.

On the other hand, The Short of It seems like it would be a super fun show.

We're seeing The Long of It too. Really, The Short of It seems like it encompasses most of the songs that they'll typically play at a show anyway; they always have to pick 1-3 of the longer songs and end up leaving out something awesome. For example, when we saw them in Central Park they played Sons and Daughters, The Island etc, and Mariner's Revenge Song, but that necessarily cuts out other long songs like California One.

I am also holding out hope for Crane Wife 1 and 2.

I'll check out what the setlist was for Short of It, though, definitely, and probably curse that I didn't get tickets earlier. :)
