Mordred, poor lost soul. But was able to redeem himself at the end.

Arthur being all noble and stupid and getting himself possessed was in character, and I like that on the heels of his big rescue of Merlin he needs to be rescued himself. These two need to learn to work as a team not blunder into danger one after the other and then have to be saved.

Arthur's triumphant arrival in Camelot, with proof of Morgause and Nimueh's betrayal couldn't have gone more smoothly, though of course Merlin and Arthur would separate, allowing Merlin to be kidnapped. Mordred throwing his lot in with Merlin was a relief and I'm sorry he had to sacrifice himself to save Merlin. Like Arthur, he might have become a better person with Merlin's influence.
