I was wondering if anyone in London had a spare room that I could use for a weekend (or maybe a bit more) once a month. I would pay a proportion of the rent/mortgage and bills for the time I was there, and I'd be happy for you to kick me out if you wanted to do something else with the room. or if it wasn't working out

We'll shortly have a small spare room with a folding guest bed available. It's not the large back bedroom we used to let out, but it's fine for weekends and suchlike. As soon as I've cleared it out (job now in progress), we'd be happy to have you, no payment needed - we can just play it by ear. If you wanted to chip into bills, that'd be nice, but it's certainly not compulsory.

We do currently have a slight mouse problem, which we are also tackling. If you'd rather wait until that's done, that's fine.

PS: If you'd like to contribute something, we'd gladly accept a little help with the cleaning and tidying in lieu of cash.

Awesome. When would your first weekend be, ideally?

We do need to sort out a few things first - in particular, the folding bed can't unfold in its current position - but with planning, this can be fixed in time for you.
