Micah and I are now in Mansfield, Pennsylvania. It is always really great to be here, Micah looks forward to being here every year.  Mark loved coming home every Christmas and it reminds me of him so much…it is really comforting.   It is really hard to believe that it is the third Christmas without him, and it hasn’t gotten any easier.

Hi Amy, I have never met you in person but did send some $ to help cover medical expenses when Palmer was sick. You have never left my thoughts and I have been wondering how you and Micah are doing. I will keep praying for the both of you. Wendy

I hope and pray all is well with you and Micah. I came across something I wrote 10 years or so ago and my wife thought I should post it here. I am no poet but yours and Palmer's life story has been an inspiration and life changing thing for me. So, here it is:

3-26-12

When spring brings new life
Yours was over here
Beautiful son and new wife
Left alone and fighting the fear

Your words left us with wisdom deep
Inspiring, convicting, helping to cope
Words rare and precious in these days
Testimony of your faith and hope

I found your journal the day you died
I read it all, every page
I remember that I cried
That you died at such a young age

I will never forget you
Even though we never met
You help to see it through
Elpida, peace remains yet
