I don't know if using LJ to leave notes like that makes sense to most but somehow it makes me feel better to "talk" to those who I've lost by leaving little notes in various places both online and IRL.

Works for me, too. I made that icon in memory of my stillborn daughter, Amethyst Rose.

Oddly, I don't seem to write as often about my Dad, but still I miss him terribly.
