Character name: Akazawa Yoshirou
Nationality: Finnish
Age: 19 (20 on next Aug 3rd)
Rank: B class butler
Appearance/Personality: Akazawa's darker than an average Finnish person, because his family has relatives from Greece. Everyone always questions his nationality, but he's used to it and ignores it mostly. He's darker than most of his family since he loves to hang out in the sun, so he's gotten a very good tan. His hair is long-ish and dark brown (he can tie it up if he wants to). He also has a very well trained body, since he keeps it in shape to serve his master as well as possible (so that he'll have stamina enough to run errands all day).
Outside his uniform Akazawa likes to wear comfortable and normal clothes like jeans and t-shirts. He doesn't really like formal clothes all that much.
The worst thing about Akazawa's personality is his fierce temper. If he gets angry or frustated he shows it. He's often gotten into trouble because of that and he's been trying to control his emotions better. He has become calmer after entering the school, but the temper is still an issue.
He's quiet and normally looks quite upset even if he's not. He has problems experessing his emotions, especially happy ones. He also doesn't like the way he laughs so he usually doesn't do that either. Others may think he's a very grumpy and unpleasent guy, but he's actually quite and kind and tries to help others as well as he can. Of course his top priority is to help his master with his daily tasks and that he does with a certain pride to please his father.
History: Akazawa was born and raised his very first years in Finland. While his family was living there his father was a foreign minister, but then he screwed up. He was in an important meeting, where he tried to impress a minister by talking their language, Spanish. In the end his praise was turned into a serious insult and to make things worse, he sweared loudly and the Spanish minister became very angry. The two countries didn't manage to make a deal and Finland was accused of insults against Spain. Akazawas fathers reputation was ruined and he was blamed for many problems to come. That he couldn't take so he resigned his job and the family moved as far away as possible - to Japan.
Akazawas parents started working for a bigger family as servants (his father as a butler) and they lived in a small house near the familys bigger mansion. Of course the family still had a lot of money due to savings (ministers salary is huge).
Japan became Akazawas home. He learned the language pretty well (he still has problems with kanji, but he speaks quite well) and he got used to people being higher than him. At first the thought about being a butler was ridiculous, but after seeing the way his father doing the job with pride he changed his mind and is okay with the talks about "you'll be like me/him someday".
Akazawas older brother decided to walk his own path and he left when Akazawa turned fifteen. After that he was forbidden to contact the "lost son". Soon a decision was made and Akzawa was sent to Lion Crest Academy to watch and learn. He had quite a rocky start, but now he has gotten used to the life in the academy and things relating to it.
Anything else: When angry he sometimes swears in Finnish, since most of the people won't understand what he's saying so they won't get too offended by him.
Even though the incident his dad was involved in happened years ago, Akazawa still hears from it. People sometimes tease him about it - especially if there's someone from Spain around.
His journal name is Finnish and it basically means "I serve believing" which usually means "I serve believing that one day this will all pay off".
