Today I went to my first DC Kidlit book club meeting. I loved meeting other people who live and breathe children’s literature as much as me-teachers, librarians, bloggers, and other authors. There is something so nourishing about being around other people in this community. I left feeling revived and I’ve already got the book for next month (
