"Captain Caesar! You could have had Egypt! Beware the Ides of March!"

Hello! I'm sorry it's been so long since I posted. Apparently it's easier for me to post if I have something to report on regularly. However, nobody with four feet has eaten any sour cream and onion dip or anything else toxic, and fortunately I have not broken any more bones. I did get the flu, but the clinic advised me to take Tamiflu (MY GOD THAT ( Read more... )

The Republicans definitely hold the lion's share of blame for much that is just plain BAD. One doesn't dare completely ignore the News, no matter how much you'd love to pull a pillow over your head and huddle under the comforter with a cuddly critter or two. We just need to keep turning the pages on the calendar and keep on keepin' on.

Have a great time at Minicon! The "retellings" panel does sound particularly fun and interesting.

We live in Maine, and greatly sympathize with your ice. Do you use traction gizmos for your shoes? Yaktrax work pretty good; there are certainly many others.

Hello Pamela! I was just going through my shelves of cherished books-the Deans, and McKillips, DeLints and the like. I love your books, and have so often wondered what COMES NEXT. I just thought to look, and I see that in 2012 you had a book waiting to be born, Going South, and publishers mucked it up! What happened to it? Would you ever self-publish. Or share a copy? Hi, Erin!

It took three years for me to get the rights to the book back, also, to be honest, to get over sulking about the mess.

Then I had to revise the book, after having repeatedly changed it at the request of the publisher, only no change was ever right. This is still going on, though I am very very close to the end. At that point I am planning to self-publish it.

I am sorry it's taking so long, but the situation has been complicated. Thank you for hanging in there.

P.

P.S. If you want more up-to-date information, my Dreamwidth account, linked at the bottom of this entry, is a better bet, because crossposting to LJ hasn't been working well at all. I almost never do locked posts, so you don't need a DW account to read, though you can get a free one in any case.
