And not because I am your friend or anything because I am always too mean about this shit, but your type of burlesque has always appealed to me most. You have lots of new routines that are almost always a little too dirty for some reason, like the banana one. And I like "traditional" burlesque but when there's too much of that, a show gets so damn boring. I'm really glad you stay away from that. It's fun to make unexpected things sexy, and I think you do that pretty well. Also, being topical is a big draw (aka swine flu) because there's always new shit to laugh at, you know?
Anyway, interesting article and I agree so much with everything he said. It's why I didn't often go to shows with you that you were not in - most of the time, I was bored.
