Getting a 1099 from Vaudezilla was probably the best thing to happen to my tax return in years. Since I have to pay taxes on some of my income from 2010, I can now deduct all of the "business expenses" that went into this little hobby of mine! 1.) Do you have all of the receipts to back that stuff up?
2.) Unless you can get your itemizations over $5,700, you're better off taking the standard deduction.

This is not necessarily what I'm submitting for my tax return, just a glance at how my expenses for the year totalled up, kind of.

I know the feeling, the travel for acting/rehearsals/etc. is absolutely ridiculous!
