Like the drop down menus and the rotating pics header. Something about the three column layout is kind of busy/cluttered, though. I am also not a web designer, so I don't know how to tell you to visually separate things out, but maybe put a little more space between the columns?

I can easily add buffers between the 3 columns as they are now. Good point.

Three columns is a bit much, but I do like all the stuff I have in them. The main thing I wanted to keep 3 columns for, is featuring the calendar. Though I could create a sticky post for the calendar in the main column and then get rid of the right column...

Buffers would probably help. My eye is going all over the place, the way it is now. Might try the calendar as a sticky and see what going to two columns looks like.

I really do like your drop-downs, by the way. Really thoughtfully done and gets me directly to what I want to see.
