I can't believe it's been over a month since my last post. Then again, I can. March definitely came in like a lion - early in the month, I learned that my beloved cat, Lucy, was very sick

I am very sorry to hear about Lucy! She was a beauty, and I know how much you loved her. The memorial is very sweet, a great way to honor her. Fourteen years, and yet I'm sure they seemed like just a moment. She will always be with you, in that calm moment right before you fall asleep.

I'm so, so sorry. It is so hard to make the decision that you know is best for them. Every time I visit my parents', I am searching around every corner for my Moses... it doesn't seem like he could really be gone.

Thanks. I know you know only too well what losing a feline companion is like. I am so sorry this is an experience we both share...as I'm sure we'd much rather share something like getting drunk and dialing George Clooney (or Bea Arthur!), or running naked through the streets of San Francisco instead of such a sad experience like this.

My heart also goes out to you and Moses. Who knows? Maybe Moses and Lucy are hanging out together in the great Upstairs.
