Week in the Life: Sunday

Sep 18, 2011 19:06

Here are the rules that I do not intend to follow:

Rules:
1. You must take between 6 and 8 new photographs per day.
2. Your WITL must be consecutive. No skipping days.
3. You must post your photographs at the end of that day, sometime after the last picture is taken.
4. Each photograph must have the time taken beneath and a title, with no other explanation. Sorry, but if I want to explain, I will explain.

You must post these rules at your first entry, then link back to it for the other six days so that people will know wtf you're doing.

Your post must say "A Week in the Life of [your name/username], Volume [whatever day you're on]."

8:30ish, dog-sitting my neighbor's dog Jack, the Jack Russell Terrier. I also call him Frank and she calls him Tommy, or Henry, or Joe. Just don't call him late for dinner!

My neighbor has a big rooster on top of her fridge.

10:00 The new dojo. Note that it is empty. No one showed up to train today.

This is my favorite piece of calligraphy at the dojo. It says, "Mind and Body Unification." It was done by a real Zen master and friend of Tsubaki Sensei. The brush strokes look alive!

The view in from the front of the dojo. Someday it will be built up, but for now we enjoy the fields.

11:30 Found a chuck roast on sale so I went to pick up some Guinness for pot roast.

3:30 While working on my lesson plans, I heard a noise behind my dryer. Boris had jumped back there and trapped himself. He managed to remove the exhaust hose. The following scene of me trying to lower myself back there, free the cat, and re-attach the hose is one I will remember for some time.

6:30 Back to the store for items that I forgot. The clouds looked ominous, but really were only just being dramatic.
