I will not be going back to Law School... It just wasn't for me... I'm gonna be in NY this semester for as long as they allow me to stay with my Visitor's visa, which should be 6 months tops. I'm looking into an MSW instead, hoping AU will take me back... if it doesn't, then its back to Chile I go... for good ( Read more... )

I quit med school, and am hoping AU will take me back for a Psych PhD. I think it's the best decision I've ever made. :)

agreed. never attempt something when you have even the slightest feeling that your heart won't be in it.

Pam, I'm sorry you had to make this tough decision, but better now than later! I think you would make a great social worker (or anything in that field, honestly). Let me know what's going on, okay?

This was a momentous decision. I am happy for you that you have made it. If it was not for you, that's good. It's the best you could have done to realize it now. Hope all is well. Im sure you will figure out a way to stay around. That, in any event, would be nice.
