It's funny how much you get used to different areas and their meaning for certain vocabulary. I am mainly referring to Spokane people and the weather there--now we had a few good "downpoors" this past month, but a "downpoor" there is like a normal rain shower here. This weather is delighfull. Though the thunder is really annoying. Just like the rain.

We have some family friends down there, and their daughter (you guys' age) is graduating from "high school" which is like this really expensive smart all girls private school, so they wear the long white dresses and hats and lots of the whole shabang, so yeah. We've never made it down to Texas yet to visit them, they always come here, but I figured at least if I go, this is a good occasion to do it. So yup- that's why!
