so let's just say that today was not a good day go to the beach with 70 kids...Luther Burbank park isn't the best place to be in the rain...

luckily we went home early, but then we were practically stuck inside back at the school...

Last time I updated was exactly a week ago- after work...it's obvious that I am so much more occupied and also tired when I get back that my LJ is getting ignored during the week, but it's all good because I am just about to write an update!

My first week of work is over! It was our lowest days of the summer and it tired me out- i am afraid for what is to come...like next week's expected 97 registered kids! YIKES! I think part of the reason I am so tired is that I have been in such a lazy morining kind of habit and then all of a sudden having to wake up earlier and use so much energy ( Read more... )

I got so much done scrapbooking today! It's exciting! (Then again I better have considering I was there from 11am to 7pm...) I know, I'm insane, but this was practically my last full day where I would have time to work on it! And my bill was only $11.something...! That's pretty good for a six hour timeframe!! Well, it's been a month since I've been home, and my month of summer relaxing is quite over...I've been subbing at Sunset until the end of their school year, which ends this Tuesday, then I have my mandatory meeting for my summer shift on Wednesday, and then I start my full time summer shift (every day, 8hr. days) on the Thursday. I really hope that I don't get sick because this morning I woke up with the tiniest of scratchiness in my throat, and I don't want that to turn into really bad sore throat.

Other things on my mind:

• I wish I had a bigger closet.
• My full-time job starts in two weeks.
• My toes are cold.
• I need to stop biting my nails!
• I should go clean my room....

Well, my family left Friday for Bellingham because our good family friends' son is a senior at Sehome HS, and they had his graduation party that afternoon. It was so fun- there were 55 people there total, awesome food, and a gorgeous view (their house is AMAZING). So it's pretty official in my mind that kids have no sense of time...I mean, yes there is the traditional "are we there yet?" question that is asked when its only been like 15 minutes, but then there are kids like at my work who find it a necessity to ask me a question over and over. I did nothing today- but when my mom came home she asked if I wanted to get my nails done with her b/c she was going ( for a job interview she has tomorrow) so of course i didn't pass up the offer and so now I have very pink toes. They are cute.

I also watched a lot of tennis today.
