After a certain number of prolonged absences followed by isolated posts, one can no longer pull the, "Hey, didja miss me?" or "No, I'm not dead!" schtick. So without further ado, check out this photo I took this afternoon of the odometer of our old Nissan.

That's terrific. I noticed that *immediately* because I'm the type of obsessive-compulsive who delights at getting off to lunch at exactly 12:34:56. My brother once covered the clock for the entire minute, much to my frustration.

There's nothing wrong with the sentence, gramatically, but it could be improved for fluency:

As I took the photo, I told Kathy that the only thing that could have been improved would be if I were driving 123 mph while I took it (Or, as I realized later, if I'd had the foresight to dust off the freaking dashboard before I snapped the shot).
