I agree. I enjoy having a few drinks every so often, even to the point that my personality changes a little and i have trouble walking straight, but what's the appeal of doing that really often? It really is sad when you see people you care/cared for change their focus from something reasonable to their addiction of choice, be it alcohol, or pot, or whatever. Where does that get you? A job flipping burgers, living in a crappy apartment, with no money for anything other than your addiction. No thanks.

so yeah, i wholeheartedly agree with you there. although that is one of the reasons i have no friends anymore-they turned into raging alchoholics.
but i've gotta say, i'd fucking kill for a glass of wine right now. just one, that's all i'm asking.

I wish I could drink just so that when my fiance has a drink at night and starts babbling endlessly about movies and making movies,I would'nt want to throw him off our balcony.I love that he's passionate about something,however listening to it over and over again while sober and trying to watch t.v or write an email is annoying.I miss cigarettes more than booz right now anyway.
