(no subject)
Got up around noon today. Yay for sleeping in! <3 We went to Northwest highschool to set up the stuff for my grandparents' craft show tomorrow. And then we got malts at Sonic and went to the fabric store to look for stuff for my costume. I made a couple of changes to the outfit's design when I sketched it out.
Yeah, it cuts off some of the text on the side, but I have a crappy scanner, so oh well, live with it. And I also spelled "tule" wrong. Yeah. >.>;
I had 4 really beautiful sketches of this outfit, but I made the mistake of leaving them on the table and Dad spilt coffee or tea or something on them, so they were ruined. ><; So I did these two in about 10 minutes before showing my grandma the design last night to ask her advice about a few things.
I'm not too happy with the closest match we could find for the purple fabric. The color is right, but it doesn't have texture and that = bad. I'm going to go to a couple more fabric stores tomorrow and see what else I can find. I'm so excited about making this outfit! >w< Fwee!
