So, today's Oprah (which was probably a repeat) got me thinking about something that has been plaguing me lately. My dear Jen, congratulations on bringing yourself to this remarkable level of maturity. No, not congrats, bring out the champagne and start the fireworks. You have made "it", whatever you want "it" to be. Believe me I cannot wipe the smile off of my face because of the happiness I feel for you. As I believe the urbanites say " You go girl". How lucky Chris is to have you as the one he is wedding and how lucky you are to have him. Wayne Dryer ( or Dyer I can never remember his last name )points out that we have a need to love and to be loved in order for us to be happy. But that simplistic sentence is really complex as love, as you have discovered, is complex and must be so much more than Valentine cards. You are so much in touch with what is real that I do find myself overjoyed. Jen, my dear, you are ready for marriage and for anything that life will bring you. And remember, life may challenge but it also brings love, comfort and happiness and the greatest of these always is love ( ... )
