She couldn't take
her eyes off it.
Because it's not only my birthday, it's also the day I first got to know about the adorkable fishing-obsessed leader of Arashi. It's already been six years!

Summary: The dilemma of holding hands.
It was calling to her.
Aisu. Aisu. Come hold me.
Practically screaming her name.
She shook her head in frustration.
No.
She thought vehemently.
She wouldn't.
She couldn't, really.
Not if she wanted her face to be on the cover of every tabloid magazine in Japan.
Aisu sighed.
It was times like these that she really hated her boyfriend's occupation. After all, how could she hold hands in public with the leader of the nation's number 1 boy group without facing the threat of bodily harm ( or more likely death) from rabid fangirls and Johnny himself?
But she was very tempted. She had half a mind to throw caution in the wind and weave her fingers with her boyfriend's long,
elegant ones as they walked along the busy Tokyo street . People of all kinds were bustling here and there, and Aisu could barely move without bumping into one person or another.
She really hated crowds.
She always felt suffocated when she was surrounded by lots of people who invaded her personal space, whether they intended to or not. Being bumped on the shoulder ever so often wasn't fun either. That was why she always avoided going out during rush
hour unless it was for work or a national emergency. Or when her boyfriend, whom she hadn't seen in almost a month, called her out of the blue and asked her out .
She looked up,suddenly snapping out of her thoughts.
Come to think of it, where was he?!
She looked around, trying to find the familiar undercut of her boyfriend, but there was no sign of him anywhere. She bit her lip, trying to ignore the sudden queasiness in her stomach.
She glanced at the nearby surrounding shops, hoping to find him peering at some object that caught his interest, but to no avail. A random businessman suddenly bumped her hard, causing her to lose her balance. She glared at him but he didn’t even stop to apologize.
"Itte." she muttered to herself, as she rubbed her sore shoulder. She was starting tofreak out.
Don't panic.
She fumbled for her sling bag and started rummaging for her phone. Just as she pulled the sleek blue gadget out, a warm hand engulfed her own. She looked up, almost teary-eyed to find Ohno watching her beneath his baseball cap with worried eyes.
"Shi-chan..."
"Ai, I told you to stay close to me." he scolded her gently, taking her cellphone and putting it back in her bag. "See, you almost got lost."
"Well you shouldn't have let me out of your sight!" she grumbled, blushing in embarrassment. "You know I don't like crowds."
Ohno smiled slightly and started walking forward again, tugging her along.
"Hai hai, it's my fault. Gomen ne."
Aisu stared at their interlocked hands, momentarily distracted by his comforting warmth before she
realized what was happening. Instantly, she started to pry her hand off.
"Satoshi, you can let go now. " she said quietly. "People might recognize you and we'll get in trouble."
Ohno ignored her, and tightened his grip.
"Shi-chan…"
"It's okay. I'd rather get in trouble than lose you again."
Aisu paused.
"Don't say stuff like that again. I think I just got goosebumps from all the cheesiness."
Ohno chuckled, and squeezed her hand affectionately.
"You like it anyway."
She didn't answer but instead glanced down again to their hands, a small smile forming on her
lips.
Fin.
