Hehe, I actually don't like fursuits either.. nothing against it but I really don't think they're cute. They might be better with little headholes though xD
Happy New Year! <3 I'm just imagining getting piled with work as soon as I step in the door haha! But I guess I only have to work one day then it's the weekend so hey. But this past week I've had so much time to draw and chill and stuff, and I'm gonna go back to having not much time again and probably only enough time to draw at the weekends, which kinda sucks ;(
Aspects of animalness are totally cute, like catears, and I always wanted a tail actually :3 You with cat ears and antlers would be adorable XD
It's just too over the top with the entire thing, it looks silly. It's like.. in my opinion the american mickey mouse is not cute, but steamboat willy style mickey was better - http://www.digitalmediafx.com/Features/Iwerks/mickey02.jpg. It's why I like japanese style animation more than american style when it's all over-done with giant mouths and things like that.. (I think that's part of why I don't like to draw mouths xD ).
It's like..minimalism is good. Subtleness is cute. Giant animal suits are not so. I think that's what bothers me. xD
