I have to ask, did they just start bringing this up again? Because I think I vaguely remember hearing something about this, but not in awhile (if I'm even thinking of the same thing) but someone else brought up this same subject last week. As we're all aware of my ignorance of current events (which I blame on the fact that I rarely even know what day of the week it is, how am I supposed to keep up?) I just wonder how much I miss sometimes. I'm having a hard time keeping up w/lj entries, world news is . . . well, nevermind. Oh yeah, I promised (via Lisa), I'll be calling you soon. Paula's coming in to town this week, so . . .
This was the first I'd heard of a confirmed find. But they'll probably decide that it's too small and too far out to count as a real planet. And then Pluto, which is even smaller, will likely get the boot from the planetary round table. Then we'll be left with a non-metric 8 planets. 8 sucks.
