Next to DQ was a music store, first called "Q" and eventually "Specs". We would go there first and dragonsnow and geckoboy were allowed to pick out one 45 record each. That's really sad. Spec's was an institution. It was very comforting to know it was there, even if I didn't shop there much.

Someone, somewhere will charge $18.99 for CDs again. It'll happen.
