I'm aware of destiny traditionally being the antithesis of choice. That's what I like about this book. It doesn't take a traditional definition of destiny. The destiny it presents is predetermined for us, and is within our reach, but not yet in our possession. We have to go out in the world and make it happen, and I find that very empowering. I see it as a sort of blending of determinism and free will. And there's also stuff about the "Soul of the World" and spiritual guides..
Anyway, it's a pretty enjoyable read! The book's buy Paulo Coelho. If you have a chance to read it, I definitely recommend it.
