There was a shooting in Melbourne today. Some biker dude was having an arguement with a woman and pulling her down the street by her hair or something and a few people tried to intervene and the bikey pulled a gun out of his pants and shot three people, killing one of the men who was trying to help the woman ( Read more... )

i was kinda foggy so i didnt catch where exactly in australia it was. been replaying the thing on tv since the late evening news. scary and disappointing at the same time, people might be driven away from helping others in the future....i really dont want that to happen too..

XD i wouldve called me dad, loony on train is an emergency sign.

Yeah, it was in Melbourne, in the CBD too, right where people were going to work and stuff. Very scary. Worst thing is... he's still on the loose.

I have to go through the city on Wednesday night to go to the soccer, by train too, so I hope he's caught by then. =\

I was seriously considering calling my dad, but I'm too nice for my own good and I didn't want to disturb him at 6am, even if I was potentially in danger. I'm a bit stupid like that, putting other people first.

i hope they do catch him pretty soon. hmm...how'd he get a gun like that? hows gun ownership laws in australia?

I dunno. Everyone that has a gun has to have a licence and stuff, and I thought it was pretty strict, but I suppose it can happen.

Yeah, I should be more selfish sometimes, and then I guess sometimes I should be less selfish. Okay, probably not actually, just less stubborn. Being stubborn is a big character flaw of mine lol.
