ya have to blow it up to it's original size for it to look better (which is 8.5" X 11"). but yeah, I'm gonna work on it today, making it easier (for other people ;) ) to read. :D

I've found putting a shadow or very thin white(pale pale washed out yellow) works too.

tried the shadow thing. didn't work out too well. and I was thinking of turning the background closer to a sepia color, but I'm gonna futz around with it some more.
