Not knowing what inspired this painting makes it hard to title it, but when I look at it, I see a girl who is wanting to break free from the "chains" that bind her. Those chains come from within her, which is why I think it is appropriate that her hair seems to be binding her...but loosely enough so there is room to get out of it. Therefore, I liked Bound by Self.
Please friend me. I enjoy reading your journal and would love to read more.

Thanks for the suggestion. Yeah I guess a little background might be needed. I might type it up when I have more time.
I added you! Most of my entries are locked so now you can read them :) Beware as I mostly whine and complain about everything here. I am trying to expand into the good things as well, it's just easier to write about the drama.
Seriously I thought I was cheating by using a stencil. No I wasn't, I just didn't want to make my own. I taped the stencil, measured out (not as precisely as I should of but precise enough) where each one should be, masked with masking fluid, painted edges of foreground with lifting preparation fluid in case I made any mistakes, painted one layer of water color, found paper to be buckling so lifted off masking tape then poured water over the back, defeated buckling but washed out some of the water color in the process, also ripped off some of the masking fluid so went ahead and took it all off (which takes forever and rips the paper in some spots), found I over masked in some areas so had to draw around the stencil to define it, washed water soluble graphite with water, drew again, wash rinse repeat, finally I have a background. Oh there was also cussing when the paper would again buckling and I probably remasked the thing with masking tape around 5 times if not more.
