Rat acne

Yay! Went to the vet and Bastian's lumps are just sebaceous cysts! The vet popped them for me, and I will have to pop them from time to time. Basically he just has rat acne *eyeroll* The vet told me they are nothing to worry about but if I get tired of dealing with them he could remove them ( Read more... )

I'm glad the boys are okay. One of our kitties used to get cat acne when we used plastic bowls. Or maybe it was teenager kitties & your rats hitting teen-hood.

He sleeps behind a plastic litterbox. The litterbox is his favorite thing to sleep and play in ><+

That and his lovely over ran testosterone (proven by his constant compulsion to hump his naked man rat friend then lick his own genitals or perhaps his rat friends genitals if he is so inclined). But he's not a teenager, that's 5 weeks in a rat. He's 14 months also known as middle age. It's probably the litter box or his constant production of orange buck grease. Maybe if I feed him olive oil every day? That or neuter him, but the olive oil is cheaper.
