here we go. welcome to my funeral.

This made me cry. Like, really.
It's a good thing everyone else is asleep.
Maybe it's only sad to me because I know the whole backstory. I could spill everything about the characters' life stories.
& maybe then it'll be more comprehensible why the tears come.
But maybe it's clear enough...?

YOU MAKE ME WANT TO CRY AND DIE AND FLAIL IN LOVE INSIDE.

And that is all I have to say.

I'm sorry. :(
...
But I have to say I'm pleased because that's kinda what I wanted as a reaction... >.>
It's not supposed to be happy.

& I might have been this close to adding a "Come with me & we'll run away from all of this" scene, but that's over done & I think Simone gave the same kind of reaction..

BUT THIS SEASON HAS BEEN STUCK IN MY HEAD FOR WEEKS & I NEED TO EDIT IT & ADD MORE TO IT.
Because it makes me squeal.

OMFG.

SONYA.

I FUCKING LOVE YOU. I FUCKING LOVE *THIS*.

I told you I was going to love Rush. And I do. I'm already flailing over him and her and them together!

There WAS a part I didn't understand, tho'... But maybe it's coz I'm slow.... Never mind, I went to reread it and I got it. *insert the Kakashi face here*

Amazing job, Sonya. Srsly.

I thought you didn't like depressingness...? @_@
Because despite what Simone has said here, they are meant to be starcrossed.
Depressing but romantic, in my opinion.

Rush is complicated.
I LOVE HIM TOOOOO. <3

Thanks. :)
I'm going to have to edit this BIG time.
I want it to be as perfect as I can get...

Love, I HATE depressing-ness. I despise it.

But this is beautiful; despising it would be a felony - a deaths sentence!

It's just super amazing!
(ihavenoideawhatstarcrossedmeans)

Rush is fucking amazing. He's my favorite as of now, Duchess is right after. I'm serious.

You'll do *fine* love, you'll see!

starcrossed is along the lines of romeo&juliet

Rush is. He's a really unfortunate character. I feel like I'm kicking a puppy by writing him.

Thanks for the confidence boost, Les. :)

Is it wrong to already be kind of in love with Rush? :')
My GOD it's so good! I can't wait to read more :)

Keep up le tres bonne stuff :D

Haha, yes, it's definitely okay.
Thank you! :)

Hopefully I will. If I can keep myself writing this, I'll be pleased.
I think I'm going to use writing the scenes I want to write as opposed to writing from beginning to end...
Though I'll write that way too! :)

Are Simone and Duchess the same person?

Reply

pandastacia January 17 2010, 18:42:13 UTC
Nope!
Just a small fact: it's kinda like urban fantasy, with the real world that we see but there's small inserts of magic & what not.
Basic premise: Duchess is an undergraduate student at this one university. One day, she finds this mist-covered golden ball in her apartment. Upon touching it, she relives a memory of these two people- Simone & Rush. When the memory ends, Duchess finds herself back at her apartment. For a while, she decides to ignore it, but when she find another one, she's catapulted into this race against time to find the truth before past events resurface to cause the most tragic events possible to occur. There's a mysterious man who is trying his best to help her, but she doesn't know his motivations.

I'm going through a lot of plot ideas. I know what's going to happen to Rush & I know the basic premise...
But Duchess's story might change. But the whole finding the memories thing will stay.

That was really good! I love Rush. My only suggestion is maybe use more dialogue - rather than just narrative - to bring details out? Because I really enjoyed the dialogue here. :D

Yeah, I normally use way too much dialogue. There were more things that I wanted to say... but I felt would be too cliche or just not work with it.

I LOVE RUSH TOOOOO.
...
Which makes me feel evil.

SONYA, YOU'VE MADE ME CRY!!!!!
Really, this is so SAD and BITTERSWEET, and I'm just sitting here crying and I LOVE IT.
The last line is MY FAVORITE LINE. It was the line that totally made me bawl.
; ^ ;

I LIKE RUSH, FOR HE IS COOL AND HOTT SOUNDING. :DDDDDD

I like the depressingness. A lot.
It makes me flail about in tears.

Heh, that's the point. It's a love that's completely DOOMED through very little fault of their own.
Well...
It's kinda their fault.
But it's not through trying to be star-crossed. They just love each other so much that it ends up dooming them to Romeo-Juliet status.
Except I would kill myself before doing something so cliches. ;)
I love bittersweet. It's like grapefruit juice!
Except... I add sugar to mine because it would be too sweet otherwise.

RUSH IS REALLY PRETTY IN MY HEAD.

Flailing with tears is my favorite thing.

I know what you mean, I like the whole star-crossed, in-love thing, but the Romeo-Juliet thing is a bit overdone.
I think of more as lemonade. I LIKE lemonade. XD

HE'S TOTALLY GORGEOUS IN MINE! OHMAIGAWD *FLAILS*

I love doing it, but I tend to fall over and then someone comes in to check what the crash was and sees me in tears and it all ends in questions that really don't have answers.
But I still do it ;)

It's beautiful & it makes me cry, but I want the tears but something less predictable. It's my whole goal.
Lemonade is delicious. Pink lemonade is pretty good, but regular lemonade is best.

I like pretty guys. =3

I do toooo. I generally read sad things in privacy so I can flail & not have people think I'm crazier than they already think I am.
