The movie theater darkened and Gabriel immediately shifted so that he was sitting more on Sam than on his own seat. Sam scowled at where he knew the archangel’s head was, close to his own.
“Gabe!” he hissed.
The archangel jabbed a finger into Sam’s side. “Shh! Watch the movie!” he whispered back, not even turning to look at Sam.
Sam grumbled, but sighed and resigned himself to having pins and needles in his leg when the movie finally ended. "Fine," he grumbled quietly. "At least pass the popcorn."
He could practically feel the smug grin Gabriel was probably sporting and sighed again. The movie had better be worth it.
