Gorgeous! I admit to some fascination with how you drew his hands/feet, because from what I hear those are really difficult body parts to get right. I didn't notice the wings at first, but that's very cool.

There is a lot of twisting to look at my own appendages when I draw hands and feet, as well as some intense staring at other people, lol. They do tend to be rather difficult to get right, but I'll admit that for this, the face was probably the hardest part, simply due to the odd angle.

I think you did quite well on the face. I can't draw at all, so all of this looks like OMG SO AMAZING; the angle, the entire...perspective of the piece. It's very cool - all of it :)

I don't know how I missed this the first time around! I love the colors you used for this. The Green eery glow against the more natural browns. It gives the piece an emotional feeling. Poor John, looks so helpless and yet I'm drawn into the image and then notice the wings.

Now I must run off to read the story this inspired.
