I highly dislike the taste of anything that lives in water, so there has been no temptation.

1) I consider Divine an awesome character and his relationship to Aki very interesting. I also believe that he helped her a lot and did take good care of her, as far as that is possible from his point of view.

2) I think Aki's background story was very badly executed and makes her look less tragic than she pretends to be. I'm extremely annoyed by the fact that she can't get anything done on her own and practically clings to Yusei, talking only to him and almost no one else. I think she is a rather disappointing female character and not living up to her image.

3) I can't stand Kiryu and I think this character is really lame. He just appeared out of nowhere, had this annoying laugh and no given reason for his psychoness. Also, I dislike his fringy white hairdo. Kiryu seems to have no substance at all and the new episodes are not exactly helping the case.

I'm very glad you can understand my point of view!
But of course, I knew you could. ;)

I like your view on Seto and Joey's relationship. It is quite important to Joey's development and there is definitely a slight change of attitude when Seto actually starts to think of Joey as a rather good duelist.

As for "puppy", I think you're right. I wouldn't make such a big deal out of this if German fans wouldn't always use a cute nickname equivalent for "puppy" to address Joey in any situation and all the time.
Oh well, there are worse things. ;)

I always get angry at series if they make girl characters so very useless, but I can't blame the girls themselves. ^^"

1) Zuko sucks. And somewhere at the end of season two, it develops from a cute kind of suck to a very annoying kind of suck.

2) Iroh became a more and more unlikeable dumb showbag.
And he was buff wtf for God's sake! :O

3) Aang is the main character! And I would hit that. Anyway, Katara definitely hits that!
Azula rulez and pwnz Zuzu's ass.
Mai rocks. Toph is overrated.
Zutara fails. Taang is an excuse-shipping.

But I loved being part of that fandom. And watching the shipping war unfold. Fun times! :D
