anarckid and I had a wonderful weekend in beautiful Howes Cave, NY. About 30 minutes west of Albany, the area consists mainly of rolling mountains and farmlands. Our mission: To explore Howe Caverns.

What a fantastic birthday weekend getaway you had. Howe's Cavern reminds me of the Grotte di Castellana caves in Bari Italy. I love underground caves. I want to check this out one day. It looks beautiful.

When are you going to Busch Gardens?

I can't wait for our visit to Philly at the end of the month. Isn't October so much fun?

You really should check it out, it was amazing. And not too far, either; just under 3.5 hours with me driving (or roughly 2 hours with Eric driving, haha). Perfect for a weekend getaway! We're heading down to Busch Gardens on October 9th, and I'm so excited. And yes, I can't wait for Philly, either!!

October is seriously the best month of the year. For so many reasons.
