I had to mule over this one for a bit, but I'm ultimately going to go with Glen Baskerville. Why? You said you prefer staying in the background, which Glen had done for a long time until he finally snapped. Glen had also seemed very obsessive about his love, Lacie. He was also a very self-destructive character as you had said about yourself. He defiantly does seem like the type of person to ignore someone if he doesn't care about them in the least.

I can't choose between Glen & Vincent, hence I vote for both.

Like Glen, you prefer to stay in the spotlights, prefer to be silent, and he does seems to be the type to be obbessive. Though I think your overall tone and all just gave me a feeling that I have to vote for Vincent.
