[Spoiler (click to open)]Loved it, actually! I can't believe I'm saying that, since I was against it from the get-go (I was always worried that Mary was going to fuck up the Epic Bromance), but really, I couldn't be more pleased with the way she's turning out! I actually really like Amanda as Mary, and I'm RIDICULOUSLY surprised at that. She's done a much better, more

I was so relieved with the course correction this episode took, frankly it was as good or better than Study in Pink.
I'm only sad they pissed away 90 minutes with T.E.H. that could have been put to use showing them honestly coming back together and patching up, but I suppose if we call E7 a mulligan we can just move on.
I hope they don't try and make us wait 2 more years. It must be weird for Martin and AA to have a wedding they never had, and now have a death too. Wonder what that does for one's relationship?
Christ, that's EXACTLY what I was thinking! During their first dance, all I could thin of was "wow, well I wonder if they're treating this as their actual first dance." Jeez.
I agree. I think TEH was a fluke (thank GOD) and we can move on. It sucks that we got shafted on one third of a season, but I'm sure this one and His Last Vow will make up for it. God, but we're headed for a doozy next week, yeah? I mean, jesus.
Benedict let it slip in an interview somewhere (who even knows anymore where this information comes from) that they film this show once every year and a half, to which the interviewer replied something to the effect of "Oh, so does that mean series four is in 2016?" and he kind of got all shifty and wouldn't say more. I'm hoping for earlier, but I'm not really expecting much. Between Martin's schedule, and Mark and Steven with new Who, and (hardest of all) Benedict's insane line-up, it's probably pretty ambitious to think we'll get one sooner. Sigh. I wish Empty Hearse had been better. This one was FANTASTIC!
