its ok.. my apartment never really felt like home to me either. i rarely spoke with my roommates at all so we never really ended up getting along

You have a whole lot of life left to live. Don't regret anything, it definately takes balls to get out there and do shit--its intimidating and it sounds like you did more than you're giving yourself credit for.
