With the money spend in Iraq in ONE WEEK, 800,000 Maine children could have health insurance for one YEAR with S-Chip, a program that bush wants to eliminate.

Hey, you commented on one of my photos and asked some questions, so I'll do my best to answer.

Sodium carbonate is also called 'washing soda'. It's occasionally used in cleaning, but I wasn't able to find it in any grocery store/wal-mart I went to. Your best bet is to go to a pool supply store. They sell sodium carbonate as a pH control product. That's where I found mine.

I'm not entirely sure how it works, but I believe the caffic acid acts as a developer somehow.

Here's a link to a recipe to make it: http://www.digitaltruth.com/techdata/caffenol.php. The same website lists recipes for several other darkroom chemicals. Just click the "back to technical data" link on the top of the page.

Hope that helps!

He said vetoed a modest increase in SCHIP funding because it "goes too far". It just amazes me that a human being could say that and get away with it. 75,000 dead Iraqis isn't "too far", ya asshole?

Tell me about it. At least he didn't veto the whole program-which is what I thought he had done. Not that it makes it much less fucked up.
