Sigh....so, I voted for Obama...and I have been supporting him since I learned more about the candidates......and knowing that it would be Amazing if Kucinich could be president, but realistically, no one will vote for him besides me....and now I am pretty shocked that Hillary has won these states ( Read more... )

At least he didn't lose his seat in congress.

But Honestly, if Obama won, would the republicans not voting for McCain really vote for him>? I think they'd be more likely to vote for Hilary.

Many of the same Republican/conservative leaders who don't particularly like McCain that much HAAAATE Clinton. I am thinking mostly the same people, like Rush Limbaugh, that were encouraging conservatives in Texas to go out and vote for Hillary yesterday! They know that conservatives will come out in droves to vote against her in November if she gets the nomination. I've seen nothing like this kind of almost literal hatred toward Obama. So no, conervatives might not vote for Obama, but I do hope that Obama will get the nomination and that as a result, they will stay home instead of voting for McCain.

I fucking hate politics. They're still dirty in the end, people don't pay enough attention to things they claim to care about What I take from what ( ... )

That's interesting, what you said about conservatives urging people to vote for Hilary. I think Obama did just win Tennesse, so he is ahead again. I was talking to a classmate yesterday, and he thinks that Obama is pretty strong at bridging the gap between republicans and democrats, and he seems to think Obama has quite a bit of conservative support....which is encouraging to hear. McCain seems to have some democratic support too. Hopefully Obama will get the nomination, and like you said the conservatives will stay home instead of voting for McCain ( ... )
