WHICH VERSION OF THE PRIDE AND PREJUDICE FILMS DO YOU LIKE THE BEST AND WHY?
Undoubtedly, I love the A&E mini-series from '95, because it is the most accurate adaptation of Jane Austen's beloved novel. Besides, Colin Firth makes an unbelievably *sexy* Mr. Darcy and Jennifer Ehle is the epitome of Elizabeth Bennet.
But I still hold a place in my heart for the original 1940's version of P&P. Aside from the atrociously ill-dated costumes and minor plot twists, the acting is solid, Greer Garson makes a lovely Elizabeth, and Sir Laurence Olivier makes a delicious wonderful Mr. Darcy. :o)
WHICH CHARACTER DO YOU THINK YOU ARE LEAST LIKE?
Well, I'm pretty confident in declaring that I am least like Jane Bennet as I could only dream of possessing her sweetness and cool temperament. Oh dear, sweet Jane.
DO YOU CARE IF YOU ARE VOTED AS A CHARACTER OF THE OPPOSITE SEX?
Not really; I think just about everyone possesses certain characteristics of nearly every literary character (both in Pride and Prejudice and abroad).
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU'D LIKE TO ADD? Not really. My brain is far too tired to produce anything even slightly amusing or witty at the moment.
