WHICH VERSION OF THE PRIDE AND PREJUDICE FILMS DO YOU LIKE THE BEST AND WHY? Definitely the '95 BBC version! It captures the best parts of Austen, in particular the cutting satire, the wit and the freshness of the novel. Of course, it has the added bonus of a really hot Darcy. The '80s BBC version was also good in its relation to the novel (possibly the most like the novel out of all the adaptations) and was a very pretty movie, if not a bit stagnant.
