Yay! Yeah, I really loved that -- how it showed how well they both know Johnny, how Bruce knows Walt, and Walt's internal struggle, what he's capable of, and *would do* for Johnny, but there's an ugliness there, not in that he's capable of it, but that Bruce would ask this of him -- push it off on him that way. At the same time, Bruce knows it has to be done, and that he *can't*, so I don't fault him, either. Just. WALT! wah!

heh - I just realized I said the wrong story title. It was actually "Sympathy for the Devil" that I read. I'm like... yes, but... where was Walt? hee
