Five minute recap of BSG ep. 3x04

Oct 20, 2006 23:41

All I can say is WOW! Lots of shiny explosions & CGI; I wouldn't be surprised if they used up the entire special FX budget for the season in this one...

Recap of ep. 3x04; spoilers will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law )

So glad I checked on you manually, because for an unknown reason this didn't show up on my flist. *pouts*

Anyway, can't stop giggling! Don't ever stop writing these!

:-D Well, I don't know how many other people are interested in reading them, but I like writing them. :-D

I have been waiting and waiting for you to post this. I actually thought there wasn't much snark that could be done with this episode, but I was wrong ....

My favorite part was finding out that Leoben was a big fraking lier. How the hell did she not see this coming? It is irritating how motherhood apparently gives everyone a case of the stupids on this show ....

Also, for a BSG noobfan who has missed a huge chunck of seasons one & two, why were there 2 Sharons on the Galactica at the end of the episode?

It was a challenge to write snark for some of the really heavy scenes, so I'm glad you enjoyed it! :-D

There were 2 Sharons on Galactica at the end of the ep.??? I only saw one, but I'll go back & rewatch.

Yay! Your recap is up. Okay, so I'm stating the bleedin' obvious to you there but it only showed up on my flist now - t'is odd! (stupid LJ) But YAY!
Gaeta: *points gun at Gaius* You're gonna get your wish, you spineless, self-serving, pill-popping, alcoholic, nymphomaniac coward! Did I leave anything out?
Gaius: Um, well no, that pretty much covers it. But if you let me leave now to stop D'anna, you can eventually add "dead" to that list.
That there is just priceless perfection!

HEE!!! (And I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the Lee/Dee scene felt stilted. I think "flat" is the adjective zippyhendirez and I eventually settled on.)

Love your snarky recaps. Please keep them coming! :D

I know the Lee/Dee scene was intended to show what a loving couple they are, but their acting throughout whole conversation really didn't hit me emotionally on any level. "Flat" is an excellent description for it.

And so glad you like the recaps - YAY! :-D

Michael Hogan: *cries, knowing damn well he'll never get the Emmy he rightfully deserves for this scene*

Sooo true.

Love your snarks :).

Seriously, Michael Hogan did an excellent job; it's good to see him get more time onscreen. And thanks for the snark love! :-D
