When the time comes when everything's already cool...as in really cool...maybe I'll understand and learn to feel happy, instead of cry when I hear sad, beautiful songs. And when I do, I'll make sure you're the first one to know:)

i love more sad songs than happy ones. but then there are many more sad songs than happy ones, they are easier to write. my favorite elliott smith song is "waltz # 1," i know the lyrics and they are heartbreakingly beautiful and i feel sad but great when i hear it and sing along.

it reminds me, my favorite movie romances are the unrequited ones. when the couple get together i usually prefer the couplings when they are subplots like in star wars. it's rare when there's a happy ending romance that i really feel good about (like amelie).
