Last year during a compition, a girl fell and twisted her ankle but got up and kept marching. It was amazing. We got her to first aid asap (we didn't realize she was so hurt while we were marching) but we got a lot of points for quick recovery.
It does happen, but usually it's not that bad. It's more commen when your backwards marching, it's easier to trip and fall on your butt.
